Waiting-list privacy
This page explains the signup form on Storicle’s prelaunch website.
What you share
When you join, you share your email address and the language of the signup page. We use these to send Storicle launch updates.
How the form works
Formspree processes and stores form submissions for Storicle. Its service may collect technical information needed to deliver the form and prevent spam.
Read Formspree’s privacy policy ↗Your choices
Joining is optional. You can ask us to remove your email address by replying to a launch update. We keep waiting-list information until you ask to leave or it is no longer needed for launch updates.
Your course data
The free course saves enrolled flashcards, review history and scheduling settings in IndexedDB on your device. Exercise answers are not saved. A separate browser flag remembers successful waiting-list signup; it contains no email address. You can download and restore a flashcard backup. Clearing browser storage removes these local records. Signing up sends your email to Formspree; using lessons, exercises and cards does not require signup.
Language preference
This site saves your selected language in a preference cookie for up to one year. Your browser’s language is used on your first visit. We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to measure page visits and waiting-list form openings, successful joins and failed submissions. We also measure course visits, video activation, practice progress, card additions, self-rated reviews, pronunciation playback and backup actions, including failures. We never send typed answers, card contents or backup files. Analytics uses no cookies or browser storage, excludes your email and form contents, and does not record sessions. PostHog discards client IP addresses from stored events. We respect your browser’s Do Not Track preference.
